Description
Try something different from mulled cider, a mulled tea with red wine. This posh hot tea cocktail with the punch of cloves and cinnamon makes this a holiday favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 pods ground cloves
- 500 ml red wine
- 250 ml strong tea
- 75 ml sugar
- Rind of one lemon
Procedure
Add the cinnamon, cloves, tea and sugar to water, bring to boil and wait till the sugar dissolves completely. Turn down the heat, add the wine and bring back up to boil. Take off from the heat and filter out the solids. Add more sugar to taste if needed. Serve with slices of lemon.
