Chamomile Chai recipe

Description

A variation to the traditional chai, with the addition of chamomile and other herbs. While the chamomile will act as a relaxant, the ginger will give an energy boost.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp chamomile
  • 1/8 tsp cardamom
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/16 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 3 tsp fresh ginger grated

Procedure

Leaving the chamomile aside, add everything to water, bring to boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Take off from the heat and add the chamomile. Brew for another 10 minutes. Filter out the herbs and serve hot.
