Description

An unusual iced tea, with cranberry that gives it a tart flavor. Apparently the name comes from the cranberry patches in the Boston area as told to me by some readers. It is a very refreshing drink for a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz cranberry juice concentrate, frozen
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 15 tea bags
  • 4 quarts water

Procedure

Bring the water to boil and add sugar. Let the sugar dissolve completely and add the tea bags. Remove from the fire and brew the tea for four to five minutes. Remove the tea bags, stir in the frozen cranberry concentrate till it completely dissolves. Refrigerate after bringing the liquid to room temperature and serve over crushed ice.
